Caramel Apples – Our Caramel Apples are made fresh daily at Kelsey’s Sweet Shoppe and the Country Bakery. We use crisp Jonathan Apples and ten-pound blocks of premium caramel. The caramel is slowly melted in a copper kettle and expertly maintained at a temperature of 160 degrees while the apples are hand dipped. All this hard work results in a perfect caramel apple that is hard for anyone to resist. Don’t miss your chance to try one!

 

 

Turkey Legs – Our Smoked Turkey Legs are slowly heated in our very own hickory burning smoker, giving them an enhanced flavor that you won’t find anywhere else. Let your nose be your guide, and you’ll have no trouble finding these succulent half-pound treats at Legs & Cakes. They’re a perfect meal-on-the-go for your fall adventure.

Kettle Corn – For a take-home treat or a mid-day snack, you’ll be delighted by Vala’s Kettle Corn. Our recipe uses the perfect combination of sugar, salt, and a secret ingredient to make the best Kettle Corn you’ll ever taste. We sell our Kettle Corn in the Harvest Barn & Weigh Station, but the best place to buy it is at Grandpa’s Kettle Corn shack, where our trained poppers are hard at work constantly making a new batch.

 

 

Funnel Cakes– What would a Festival be without fried food? These toasty treats are perfect for warming up your insides on a chilly fall day. Try a funnel cake topped with powdered sugar, cinnamon sugar, or cherries. 

 

 

 

 

Pumpkin Pie and Caramel Apple Ice Cream – In Kyla’s Custard Shoppe, we make our own premium custard-style ice cream in a variety of classic and fall flavors. What makes it custard, you ask? We add pasteurized liquid eggs to the ice cream while it is mixing, giving it an extra creamy texture. This makes it a custard. Try our Pumpkin Pie or Caramel Apple Ice Cream for an icy fall treat. Kyla’s favorite flavors are Cake Batter and Cotton Candy, two kid-friendly (and teen-friendly) choices. We also have Vanilla, Chocolate, and an assorted variety of other flavors that change daily, depending on the mood of our ice cream makers.

Fudge – Once you try our home-made Pumpkin Pie Fudge, you’ll visit Vala’s every year just to get your yearly supply. Look for it in Lolo's Fudgery and Popcorn Shop, next to the Harvest Barn.
